after the jam being over for awhile i remembered this game randomly and wanted to come back to it, just played all the levels again. i found myself redoing successful connections just so i could have a more elegant/optimized path. i really like the size of the spaces, it feels like the perfect balance of feeling free knowing there are multiple solutions and also feeling restricted and like you have to still be careful with all your moves and think ahead. i have never made any puzzle games so level designs like these are totally lost on me lol. nice job, i would be curious to know how you went about laying out the levels for this!

Really glad to hear you enjoyed it so much! Level design involved much more trial and error than it did planning. The first thing I did was outline the structure of the levels, so I decided how many bulbs and how big each box would be. The principle here was to ramp up the size of the box before increasing the number of bulbs, to create kind of a zigzag progression. From there I mostly just placed the bulbs and batteries randomly and played a lot. Having friends or family to try your puzzles is a big plus.

I love this game but for Mac, it's a pain to rotate

Awesome game! Very fun and everything felt nice and satesfying. Would love to play even more levels, even if the levels don’t nessessarily get harder, since it’s just satisfying and fun to try to make it look neat. The 9th level was very nice!

Great puzzle game! You did an awesome Job making it feel right. I love the art style and the game mechanic. I made a puzzle game too. Maybe you want to try it out, I would be very happy since mine didn't have as much success as yours yet.

This game is so addicting! you did a phenomenal job! It feels like minecraft. If you have a chance, I'd truly appreciate it if you tried out my game "Death By Marriage". If you like psychological horror, I think you'll have a great time with it. :)

Thank you! I'd be happy to check out your game.

Thank you so much! I'd be grateful
